Cat Boarding Rates

  • Hi Rise Room: $31.00 per day
  • Hi Rise View Room: $33.00 per day (Window)
  • Courtyard Room: $38.00 per day (Outlook)
  • Boutique Room: $43.00 per day (Window)*
  • Premium Boutique: $60.00 per day*
  • Alfresco: $43.00 per day (Hi Rise plus enclosed patio)*
  • Courtyard View Room: $50.00 per day (Large Window)*
  • Courtyard Deluxe Room: $55.00 per day (Hi Rise plus Courtyard)*
  • Premium Courtyard Room: $60.00 per day (Hi Rise View plus Courtyard View)*
  • Presidential Suite: $80.00 per day*

* Additional cats: $19.00 per each additional cat


Peak season and public holidays will incur a surcharge

Our customers benefit from Whispurrs Cat Retreat’s special discounts. Here are some of what we offer:


  • Senior card holders: 10% discount
  • Resident of a retirement village: 10% discount
  • Pensioners: 10% discount
  • 10% discount for stays one month or longer.
  • Free upgrades for long-term bookings (off-peak season)

Peak Season

Peak season surcharge: $3.50


We charge an extra $5.50 on all bookings made during public holidays. These include:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Australia Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Saturday
  • Easter Sunday
  • Easter Monday
  • Anzac Day
  • Labour Day
  • Nambour Show Day
  • Queen’s Birthday
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day
  • New Year’s Eve

All bookings made on school holidays also incur a 10% surcharge. 


Our peak fees only apply to the first cat of two or more cat families sharing in one suite.


Whispurrs Cat Retreat is closed to the public for drop-offs and pick-ups on all declared public holidays in Queensland. To comply with local council regulations, we strictly adhere to our opening hours.


Note: For our pick-up and delivery services, contact us to get a quote.

Please note an out of hours opening fee of $100.00 applies to open the facility outside trading hours.
